Wyoming Medical CBD Law
(Updated 2025)
- Introduction
Wyoming has one of the most restrictive cannabis-related programs in the United States. Only high-CBD, low-THC hemp extracts are permitted, and the law is narrowly tailored to serve patients with intractable epilepsy.
There is no medical marijuana program, no dispensaries, and no legal pathway for patients to grow cannabis at home. Patients must meet stringent requirements, including obtaining a Hemp Extract Identification Card issued by the Wyoming Department of Health.
